For Example : Birthday is May 5.  -------à 5+5+2+0+1+8 = 21

                Once you have added all the numbers you must reduce the final number to a single digit by adding the two numbers. 2+1= 3 ---------à 3 is your Personal Year!

Personal Years:

1: This is a year for new beginnings. Let old bygones be bygones and allow the next chapter of your life unfold! It’s a year of new starts, struggles and inspiration! Great year to set goals that will unfold the following 10 years

2. Year of Harmony and Balance . After a rocky start of the number 1 year, you can enjoy the calmness. This is a year to nurture all those goals you put in place during a 1 year.

3. Year to have fun. You’ve been working hard, you set some great foundations and this is a year for you to have fun. Enjoy what you have built. Make time this year to enjoy life and have more fun

4. Year to focus on FOUNDATIONS. You may have been trying to find your way these last few years and the 4 year is a time for you to get down to business and start getting serious. Take classes or read books towards things you want. This is a year of maturity and personal growth.

5. the 5 is a rocky year. There is a lot of energy all over the place. You may find things are chaotic, rocky and nothing just seems to go smooth. It’s a very crazy year in good and bad ways. This is not a year to make any big decisions. Lots of energy flying around left and right because the universe is shuffling things around to make it happen for you. Don’t take anything serious, take everything with a dash of salt and focus on the cup being half full.

6 . Great year to settle down and build a family, home, ect. This is a very sweet loving year. If you want to buy a house- this is a great year to do it.

7. Year to retreat and meditate. This is a year for you to return your focus inwards on yourself. Be selfish with your time and energy. Many people find their aha spiritual moments during this time.  I’ve had a few clients who “found god” during their 7^th year.

8. GREAT YEAR FOR BUSINESS. Finances and Career will blossom in the 8^th year.

9 Year of closure. This is a time where things come to a natural end. If you have a relationship that comes to an end during your 9^th year, this is a very good sign that KARMA has been balanced between you and that other soul. It’s a very healing year as we start to let go of the past to make room for the new during the 1 year.

There are many ways to interpret the Personal Year, this is just my personal interpretation through my own years of experience.  I highly recommend you all to do your own research on the personal year number  and go with what feels right. Let’s break it down…

            Despite the challenges and down ward turn of my luck this year , I grew very much. The 6 of wands shows me I came out victorious so these challenges did make me a failure but helped me grow, I succeeded despite my obstacles and challenges. The queen of swords has taught me that I can sometimes be a real bitch. I can be to straight forward, intense and come off in a really bad way when that is not my intention. My energy can be to intense and my biggest lesson this year was learning to recognize that and tone it down. I am still learning, this is not a lesson I have mastered yet, I am still learning how to be tactful with grace as shown with this Queen of Swords.

             I was raised with this mentality that there is not enough to go around. It happens when you grow up poor- the struggle really changes the way you see the world and my goal this year is to really be open to all the endless possibilities and not limit myself. The 4 of pentacles is what I call the stingy card. It’s a card that signifies that we hold too tightly to something because we are afraid we will lose it and my lesson this year is to throw myself out and allow the universe to bless me. I’ve limited myself somehow along the way and really shortened myself.

            To help me overcome this 4 of pentacles energy that I have, I am supported by the King of Pentacles. He proves to me there is enough and I will always have enough. I need not worry. As the universe will provide. It has not failed me so I have no reason to doubt it.  We are all powerful manifestors  but many of us get too scattered. The Magician shows me that I have to many tricks I’m trying to master and that I need to focus on one. I need to pick a tool of the trade and stick with that. This last year I really let my Tarot business go and it has always been a struggle for me, I plan to get back into my work with a bang because this is really where I want to dedicate my energy. This and my photography.

Areas of focus for 2018

            In Love: Relationship wise I need to focus more on myself.  When you’re a mother and wife its so easy to put everyone ahead of you. For me, this year is all about me. My children are older, where they don’t need me as much and as they get older, my husband is more hands on.  I want to spend more of my own time on me. Focusing on me. My marriage is at a stable place to where I can now do this.

            Career: Dentistry has been a huge page of my life these last 6 years. It has been number one priority. I put all my eggs in the dental basket because I was banking on a Promotion that didn’t come. Not because I didn’t deserve it, but because I came to the realization it’s not what I WANT. Dentistry has been what supports me so that I can pursue my true passions. In 2018 , I plan to let dentistry take a total back seat as I move full force into my spiritual work. Of course its work I love and it breaks my heart to put dentistry behind me but its time. This heart ache card does not signify a devasting lost, but it signifies my desire to move on to bigger and better things.  I wont be quitting just yet, but the door is closing on this chapter.  Financially, it’s just not enough to sustain me.

            Health and Well being: I spent so much of my energy this year working. Working, working and working. 2018 I will be cutting back. I need to. My desire to set onto a new path scares others and I think part of my dedication to my work has allowed me to give to much of myself. When all else falls apart, Cyndee comes to save the day – well my friends in 2018- that will be no more. Cyndee has a life and she is moving on.  

            Spiritually : 10 of pentacles shows me that my guides and spiritual team are ready to have me back in fullforce. Generations and generations of spiritual helpers are ready to help me achieve my goals in 2018 and its their time to help. 10 of pentacles brings me great spiritually prosperity. If you’ve enjoyed my work so far, you’re in for a real treat in 2018!

Moving into 2018

  The page of wands brings me lots of creative energy. This is my year to harness that energy! The page of wands is feisty, creative and full of energy. As I step into 2018 it’s her energy that will drive my success. She can also be scattered brain so I must remain focus and a dream board will help me achieve success and stay on track.

My lesson to learn this year is to engage in the power of the King of Swords. 2017 I struggled in allowing myself to be the Queen of swords. I ended this year realizing that I can be straight forward and get things down with out being a bitch. The king of swords is my lesson that I need to stick to my guns and get things done. No one will motivate me , I have to motivate myself. If I want to succeed in 2018 , I need to be Strict with my regime, Follow through and complete my task and don’t half ass. I need to cut the bull shit pretty much. I also need to be careful to not get so focused on my goals that I turn into a big giant asshole.

Overall, My 2018 energy is accompanied by the Hierophant. He arrives to show me that not only do I have a lot to learn, but I also have a lot to share and teach.  Don’t be stingy with my knowledge and always remember to have a slice of humble pie. He also reminds me to not venture into unknowns and stick with things that have worked for me in the past. 2018 is not a year for me to create new things, but to build upon that that I have created in the past. Stick to what you know, if there is nothing wrong with the formula, don’t change it. Revisiting the 4 of pentacles I can see that my mistakes in the past were due to my fears of not having enough. I won’t make that same mistake this year. I am thinking bigger and better this year because I KNOW I CAN.  The magician shows me that I am in control of my destiny and I have all the tools of the trade that I need to create my business. ( I’ve built a successful tarot business from absolutely nothing, and now I plan to take that formula and replicate it for my photography work)

LEARNING TO MOURN

LEARNING TO MOURN

         EARLIER THIS MONTH I ATTENDED A FUNERAL FOR AN OLD FRIEND OF MINE. I HADN'T SEEN HER IN YEARS BUT WHEN I HEARD OF THE NEWS OF HER PASSING, I WAS COMPLETELY HEART BROKEN BECAUSE SHE WAS SUCH AN AMAZING PERSON.

        I'VE HAD MANY LOSSES THROUGH OUT THE YEARS AND DEATH IS NOTHING NEW. A FEW YEARS AGO I LOST MY BELOVED DOG REMY AND IT BROKE MY HEART TERRIBLY. SINCE THEN, I THINK I'VE BECOME NUMB TO DEATH AND THE PASSING OF LOVED ONES. THIS LOST OF MY FRIEND I THINK IN A WAY, BECAME A MOMENT IN MY LIFE WHERE AWAKENING HAPPENED.

           I STARTED TO REFLECT ON THE LOST OF FRIENDSHIPS I'VE HAD OVER THE YEARS AND IT MADE ME REALIZE HOW PRECIOUS EVERY INTERACTION IS. PEOPLE COME INTO OUR LIVES FOR A REASON AND THEY ARE MEANT TO BE THERE FOR US JUST AS MUCH AS WE ARE SUPPOSE TO BE THERE FOR THEM.

            I HADN'T SEEN MY FRIEND SINCE HIGH SCHOOL, WHICH WAS OVER A DECADE AGO AND YET WHEN THE NEWS OF  HER PASSING CAME TO MY EARS, I CRIED. I HAD TEARS OF SADNESS AT THE LOST OF SUCH A WONDERFUL SOUL AND THE GUILT OF ME LOOSING CONTACT WITH HER. I REALLY SHOULD OF REACH OUT AND MADE AT ATTEMPT ALL THESE YEARS.

        THE CRAZY PART IS I'VE HAD FAMILY MEMBERS PASS IN THE LAST FEW YEARS AND THOSE DIDN'T DEVASTATE ME. WHAT HAS CHANGED?

         I THINK I'M GROWING UP. I THINK WITH TIME AND EXPERIENCE AND LIFE, I'M LEARNING HOW VALUABLE EVERY MOMENT IS AND I'M LEARNING TO MOURN. I GREW UP IN A FAMILY WHERE WE DIDN'T DEAL WITH OUR EMOTIONS. WE SHUT THEM OFF AND WE MOVE ON, WE NEVER TALK ABOUT  IT. HAVING TWO YOUNG SOULS TO RAISE MYSELF, I WANT MY CHILDREN TO GROW UP EMOTIONALLY HEALTHY AND SO I'VE  BEEN WORKING ON MYSELF AND HELPING THEM LEARN COPING SKILLS SO THAT THEY BECOME GOOD HEALTHY, EMOTIONALLY FUNCTIONAL HUMAN BEINGS.

        LEARNING TO MOURN IS SOMETHING THAT HAS TO BE LEARNED,  WE AREN'T BORN WITH THIS INNATE SKILL ON HOW TO DEAL WITH DEATH, WE LEARN HOW TO COPE FROM OUR PARENTS, FRIENDS AND ENVIRONMENT. WHEN YOU DON'T LEARN THESE SKILLS AS A KID, YOU GROW UP EMOTIONALLY UNAVAILABLE.  IN MY OPINION , ITS UNHEALTHY BECAUSE YOU CAN'T PROCESS THE TRAUMA SO IT SITS AND FESTERS AND BECOMES BAD HABITS.

          THE TRAUMA THAT FORMS TURNS INTO BEHAVIORS THAT ARE UNWANTED. YOU DON'T KNOW IT RIGHT AT THAT MOMENT, BUT ALL THOSE BAD HABITS THAT YOU HAVE, ARE A ROOT OF SOMETHING DEEPER. AS I REALIZED THIS, IT MADE ME WANT TO CHANGE. I GOT TIRED OF BEING TIRED SO I MADE IT A GOAL  RECENTLY TO GO TO THE GYM. DURING MY WORK OUTS NOT ONLY AM I BURNING CALORIES AND ENERGY- IT BECOMES A WORKING MEDIATION FOR ME, I START TO WORK OUT OLD SHIT THAT IS FESTERING IN ME THAT I NEVER DEALT WITH.

MY LEARNING TO MOURN, HAS BEGAN MY PROCESS OF HEALING. 

The Magician is within us

The Magician is within us

                The Fool leaves home and journeys into the world of unknown, he carries all his belongings in a bag that is wrapped tightly. As he walks away he forgets what he is to do with these items. On his journey he comes across the Magician. The Magician reminds him that he has everything he needs to manifest his destiny and takes his bag and opens it up. He lays out 4 items before the fool, these are the four of elements that we use to manipulate energy and it’s how we create magic.

                With this wand you will create

                I read this story once upon a time, it’s a great story and it has stuck with me all these years. It taught me to look at the magician card in a position of power. The magician when it arrives, shows me that we are the masters of our own destiny and we can create what we will. This does not mean that we can sit back and wait for the universe to grant our wishes.  We are not victims or bystanders in life, but active participants. The Magician teaches us that we have to work for what we want, if we want to manifest, we must master our trade and learn to manipulate energy. In each and every single one of us lays the tools we need. 

Mind – Swords - AIR

Body – Pentacles - EARTH

Spirit- wands - FIRE

Soul- Cups - WATER

When you find yourself coming across the Magician in a reading, he arrives to remind you that you are on the right path. Whatever it is that you wish to manifest is within your reach. This does not mean you can relax and wait for the pieces to fall into place. The magician is a worker, he practices and applies what he knows to create “magic”, and he never stops.

He is diligent student, a master of his trade.

He is powerful as depicted with his pose, one hand pointing up to the universe, the other pointing down to the ground – the sign for “ as above and so below”  He is showing you that you can take the energy of the universe to empower yourself so you can manifest here on earth, in the same token, you are able to draw energy from the earth plane to create magic in the universe.  The infinity sign over his head reminds us that energy flows where energy goes.

When you look around this card, you can find that he is surrounded by flowers in full bloom. This shows you that your hard work will one day come to fruition.  If you find yourself doubting the process, just look at the flowers and remind yourself that everything takes time. In the fall you plant the seeds and come spring they will bloom. In between it is important that you water your garden and pull weeds so that you can have a wonderful garden come blooming time.  It takes work and time, you cannot rush the process. Just because you don’t see the final products of your hard work right now, doesn’t mean it will never come.

Be patience, the Magician is here to remind you that your goals, hopes and dreams are within your reach and a part of your destiny.

The Fool’s Journey

Every tarot reader has sometime in their learning has heard about the fools journey and how he starts his life by meeting different people and learning new lessons along the way – each of these events are depicted by the cards in the Major Arcana. My story today isn’t about how that story unfolds, if you’re interested in learning that story; that will be a topic for another day.

                Today is about how my experiences over a decade have unfolded the Fool in me and how I see the fool today. The journey and its revelations have evolved for me with time, practice and application. The more I work with the fool, the more I find myself learning. It never truly ends- the growth of learning. So how did I see the fool in my earlier years? When I first started learning tarot this card was very basic for me- “ It foretells a new journey, a new chapter, a new start. “ Over a decade later, now when I see the fool, I see possibilities, I see choices, I see the message to have faith.

To the core of this card :

-          Childhood like innocence- This energy is of one who has not been tainted by life’s hardship.  Those who pull this card will find that despite what is happening in their lives, they have faith that everything will be ok- they don’t expect bad things. Even if life is rough, there is this part of them that just feels “ it will be ok, tomorrow is a new day.”

-          Optimism- this card brings optimism. We are full of life and full of creative energy. We are excited and happy as can be. Whatever the situation is that brings about this reading is a positive one as it shows we have great energy. Life’s cup is half full.

-          Be open, Have faith- look at his body language- see how he opens his arms to the world as if to say “ HELLO WORLD!”

-          That little dog – what is he doing and why is he there? Is he joyous and excited to tread this journey with the fool? Or is he trying to warn the fool to watch where he is going because he is about to walk off a cliff? The dog is a symbol of our egos – it can either be a voice of reason or he can be our fears barking. How can you tell which one? How does it make you feel when you focus on this dog? Does he feel friendly, or scared?

-          Bright Yellow Card- Enlightenment, Optimism and Hope. I work a lot with the chakras and for me, this card reminds of the Solar Plexus- the seat of our power. To me, this is a very powerful card simply due to the sheer fact that there is so much energy- it’s as if to say “the fool may be foolish because he has much to learn but he is very powerful.

This card reminds me at the start of my tarot journey. I knew nothing. I remember thinking “my god, how will I ever learn all 78 cards?” Despite my fears and doubt I continued my studies. This card reminds me of how I had so much to learn. Over a decade ago I was foolish indeed. My understanding and interpretation of the tarot is very different today- it is much more evolved. I truly believe that the knowledge has always been there and I just had to take that leap of faith and jump off a cliff to expand my horizon. I took this power that was with in me, it’s within us all, and I took a leap of faith. I made a choice. The fool reminds us that we can choose to walk the path and focus on opening our arms to the great things out there or we can live in fear and do nothing.  Yes there are dangers ahead, we may walk off a cliff, but so what! Who knows what is on the other side?

How can this fool apply to you?

I believe everything happens for a reason and if you’re reading this now, you’re probably being called to evaluate your life- use the fool to help you proceed.  There are no accidents or coincidences.  See this card as opening a door to new opportunities and experiences. It arrives to signify that we are about to embark on a new journey or if you’re feeling stuck, it is encouraging you to have faith, leave what you know behind and start a new path.

                 

How to apply the power of the FOOL:

                This card reminds you that you are a powerful being and that you can control your life. Life doesn’t happen to you- you make it happen. By being proactive and making conscious choices to lead the life you want to live, you are tapping into the power of this card. The fool enters the world full of life and optimism. Total Solar Eclipse

Total Solar Eclipse

August 21 2017

                Tomorrow is a very exciting day, it’s the first time in 38 years that we will be able to experience a total Solar eclipse. If you are ruled by the water (birth signs Scorpio, Pisces and Cancers) you may experience these shifts in energy the most. What most of you may not realize is that this Solar Eclipse will be happening during a new moon.  A new moon is a wonderful time to set some goals, with this one being on a Total Solar Eclipse- Don’t delay yourself. Set some powerful intentions and goals.

                As some of you may have noticed, chaos and upheaval seem to be prevalent now, but please, don’t let this negative energy discourage you from seeing the positive in everything and shining your own light. We cannot match negativity with more negativity. If you wish to change the world, it must start with you. As the next few months start to unfold, you may notice many challenges will seem to just land at your feet.  The Solar eclipse can bring chaos and change.  But this does not mean you are powerless, to be forewarned is to be prepared.

                Some things to remember:

                a. 2017 numerological is a #1 year. With this comes many new changes, a brand new start and total shift in energy. We are starting a new chapter.  We have already seen this significant change in the change of presidency for the US.  

                b. -Eclipse are rare- why? It only happens when the Sun, Moon and Earth are all aligned. Doesn’t happen very often. Usually 4-7 times a year we will experience a partial or annular eclipse. A total eclipse is even rarer, once in a life time.

 (Tomorrow we all get to experience a TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE- these are rare and are the kings of eclipses. The last one was in 1979)

LUNAR ECLIPSE happens when the earth is in the center and the sun and moon are on opposite sides, these happen at night.

 SOLAR ECLIPSE happens when the moon is between the sun and earth. Spiritually, eclipses are SUPER POWERFUL. The energy is amplified. Don’t let this precious time go to waste.

c. Total Eclipse lands on a new moon Aug 21,2017.  What this means for you? Plant those precious seeds you wish to see come to fruit. Hopes, wishes and dreams are within reach if you believe! New moons are the perfect times to set intentions, goals and make a plan. Today is a the perfect day for you to write your story- how do you wish for your life to unfold these 6months? 

Some tips to re-focus your energy

With this super charged New moon/ Solar Eclipse arriving Monday, I wanted to share with you all some tips to help you shift your energy and make some healthy changes today for a happier you. Happiness is a choice and we all have the right to it, but we must accept that we are worthy and in control of it. It is not handed to us on a silver platter from the universe because we did a good deed. It is ours to take and it is our CHOICE. 

We must actively pursue happiness.         

1.       How do you perceive your reality? If you want something- Go get it! Nothing is standing in your way but yourself. We create our reality. If we perceive the glass half full or half empty- that is all on us. Not anyone else. If you think you can’t do something or you often use excuses such as “ I can’t, I never, It never happens for me, I am so unlucky, it doesn’t work, ect”   Come to terms with this and accept this part of your reality so you can make healthy changes. How you perceive your reality is what will come to be. Don’t think you can’t, THINK YOU WILL.

2.       What you say becomes your truth. Words are powerful, how you speak to others and to yourself will say a lot about your character. Be aware of how you speak and how others speak to you. Don’t allow others negativity to affect your own verbage. Ever notice when you hang out with people who cuss, you in turn will cuss? Or ever walk into a room where a group of people gossip? Use positive phrases and fill your life with positive quotes.

    3.       Re-write your story. We all have the power to control our destiny. It all begins with a choice. If you are unhappy with the current chapter, use this powerful solar eclipse to re-write your story. Forget about the past and what has happened or what was done. Move forward- how do you wish for your life to be in the next coming months.

    4.       Be amongst those who inspire you. You want to fill your life with people who inspire you. Have friends that elevate you. Be with family that are successful and high achievers and hang out with co-workers who are leaders. Who you allow in your personal space is a reflection on what your reality is. Birds of a feather, flock together.

If you have nothing but negativity and low achievers in your life, you will have a very hard time manifesting a better life, because I will be honest, people can and will weigh us down if we are not careful. I don’t mean you need to eliminate people from your life, but decrease your exposure to them. We all have family that is draining and of course you love them unconditionally but you don’t need to be with them all the time. Set healthy boundaries. If you don’t have a large social group, fill your life with positive role models.

5.       Change your routine- Live a little

This is the fun part. HAVE FUN. Do something different! Stop going to the same coffee shop, at the same time, every day. Live a little. Do something new. Let the universe guide you and wander. Those who get lost will find themselves.

Take a few minutes to get grounded. Take a few deep cleansing breaths and ask your guides what will be a great message you need to hear that will help you finish up your week. This message is for this upcoming weekend. Pick a card when your ready.

2.       The Nine of Cups: CONGRATULATIONS! This is such a wonderful card you’ve chosen.  You’ve planted some great seeds and you’re going to get what you set out to get. This weekend, have fun, enjoy yourself and just trust that the universe is working vigorously to move things around for you. Today is a day to just LOVE LIFE. Be GRATEFUL and HAVE FUN.

3.       King of Earth:  Accept the opportunities presented to you this weekend with grace. Smile and say thank you. If someone invites you out to dinner, get out of your own rut and have dinner. The king of earth is a grounding card. It’s a card of support. The universe will bring people into your life this weekend that are here to support you. You may not feel like it but just trust that if they weren’t for you, they wouldn’t be here.

4.       Eight of Air : We all have ups and sometimes more downs. This card shows me that you have the potential to spend your weekend dwelling on the negative.  And I just want to tell you, that’s its ok! It’s ok to have a bad day. It’s ok to stay home this weekend and fume and get angry! Allow yourself permission to be who you need to be anger and frustration and all. But…… The secret here is to allow yourself to be negative this weekend and then let it go. Lock yourself up, scream and yell, CRY. Journal, Vent. Do what you need to do to get all that negative pent up energy out! Come Monday morning, Let it go. Smile, Laugh and be happy. We’re all human, we all have a vast vessel of emotions and it’s important we feel every inch of that vessel and not be guilty about it. There is nothing wrong with having a  bad day, it happens. The secret is letting yourself have a bad day and then let go.
